In the 21st century, the majority of the people are concerned about themselves on one hand, which often looks self-centered but on the other hand, there are several kind souls, who are taking the step forward. With our busy lives, it can be hard to find the time to volunteer. However, the benefits of volunteering can be enormous. Volunteering offers vital help to people in need, worthwhile causes, and the community, but the benefits can be even greater for you, the volunteer. The right match can help you find friends, connect with the community, learn new skills, and even advance your careers. I volunteered at Helen Keller institute for the deaf and learned their sign language to communicate with them better. We made wonderful arts and crafts, learned to sign in their hands because they could not see when I look back today. I still remember all the beautiful moments I had before and would still love to go Giving to others can also help protect your mental and physical health. It can reduce stress, combat depression, keep you mentally stimulated, and provide a sense of purpose. While it's true that the more you volunteer, the more benefits you will experience, volunteering doesn't have to involve a long-term commitment or a huge amount of time out of your busy day.
